   With the rapid development of semiconductor technology and electronic information technology, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology is more and more recognized and accepted by more people, and brings a broader market and application space. The low cost of RFID tags has driven the RFID tag packaging equipment to move towards higher packaging efficiency and higher reliability. The application of voice coil motor in RFID label packaging equipment is studied. The control method of voice coil motor in different motion sequences is studied.

      We start from the chip module packaging equipment, patch for the technical requirements, the choice of a two-degree-of-freedom voice coil motor as the chip pick and place actuator. Combined with the control system of the module, a method of controlling the voice coil motor with Turbo PMAC (multi-axis motion controller) is proposed.

      Voice coil motor in the patch process to complete the main pick, rotate and place three movements. In the process of picking up and rotating, the placement head has no squeezing action on the chip. In these two aspects, the control of the voice coil motor is mainly position control. The method to realize the position control of voice coil motor by Turbo PMAC is analyzed in detail. The control model is extracted and the simulation is carried out. Combined with the iterative learning control method in advanced PID control and the repetitive motion of the voice coil motor, the application of this method in the position control of the voice coil motor is discussed. Simulation results show that the control method can effectively improve the positioning accuracy.

      Aiming at the requirement of fast feed and low force impact during chip placement, a method to realize the soft landing of voice coil motor by Turbo PMAC is proposed and the trajectory is further optimized. Experimental results show that this control method can not only realize the soft landing of the voice coil motor, but also shorten the time of soft landing effectively and improve the running efficiency and the reliability of the chip.
